About the Event

Quarantined students have been screen learners for months and months and many are struggling to follow in-class teaching and participate effectively in classroom discussions. But some teachers are finding lessons and activities that succeed in connecting students in ways that draw them into the content and interaction with other students. IECSS invites middle and high school social studies teachers to participate in this virtual workshop to participate in some of the suggested activities so they can easily use the lessons and strategies in their classes.  There will also be chances for participants to share their own successes with the other participating teachers.
